Short-term rental

Unfortunately, we cannot promise you that. Due to the high turnover of vehicles between our branches, damage occurring during the rental period, or situations where customers decide to extend their rental or return the car in a different city, we are unable to guarantee a specific model. but we can take your preferences into account and, if possible and available, you will receive the specified car model.

Yes! Please inform us of your plans – we will then include this option in your rental. Please note that travelling abroad is only possible after prior notification to all countries in the European Union and the Schengen area, with the exception of the following countries: Lithuania, Latvia, Estonia, Belarus, Ukraine, Kaliningrad Oblast, Hungary, Bosnia and Herzegovina, Montenegro, Serbia, Kosovo, North Macedonia, Bulgaria, Romania, Moldova, and Greece.

Travel abroad is an additional paid option. We also recommend taking advantage of Gold EU Insurance.

With CAR NET short-term rentals, you don’t have to worry about mileage limits – you can drive as much as you need.

If, in exceptional circumstances, we introduce mileage limits for specific promotions or car segments, we will provide you with clear information before you make your booking.  

Please call +48 601 803 803 to request an extension of your rental. Our consultants will arrange all the details with you and generate a link for payment for the additional days of rental.  

Every rental car has basic third-party liability insurance, comprehensive insurance and accident insurance to ensure safe use.

If you choose the basic insurance option, in the event of damage caused by you (comprehensive insurance), the rental company will charge you for the cost of repair up to the amount of your excess. The amount of the excess depends on the class of the car. 

The good news is that you can reduce your excess for comprehensive insurance to £0 by purchasing additional insurance – Gold Insurance.  

A security deposit is a block on your card to cover any additional costs that may arise during the rental period. The amount of the security deposit depends, among other things, on the class of the rented car. You can reduce the deposit by purchasing Gold Insurance.  

The deposit is released within 14 days of the end of the rental period.  

The total rental price is influenced by, among other things, the number of days, the vehicle class, selected options and additional services. We suggest that you make a calculation by providing the most important rental parameters. 

The driver must be at least 21 years old and have held a driving licence for at least one year.

In the case of premium cars (P and LUX segments), the driver must be at least 28 years old and have held a driving licence for at least three years. 

The branch employee will ask you to present:

– an identity document (ID card, passport),

– a valid driving licence for each driver (the driving licence must be valid in Poland), 

– the main renter’s personal credit or debit card (two cards are required for some segments) in order to block the deposit.

Documents and cards must be presented in physical form or via the mObywatel app. Photographs of documents are not accepted.

Our branches operate Monday to Friday from 8:00 am to 6:00 pm and Saturdays from 9:00 am to 2:00 pm.

We make it possible to pick up and return the vehicle 24 hours a day by prior arrangement and payment of the surrender/return fee outside standard office hours of PLN 49 gross.

On the way

Use the compressor at the nearest petrol station. If you have any problems, ask a member of staff. If your vehicle has this function, reset the pressure indicator from the multimedia system or on-board computer.

First and foremost, ensure your own safety and that of your passengers. Then, immediately call the police to take a statement at the scene of the accident and contact the technical department: +48 62 505 55 90.

If the vehicle is returned to a branch with ticketed parking, the ticket must be returned together with the key. If you leave the keys in the key box (KeyBox), the parking ticket must be placed in the case with the registration certificate or left with the key in the key box (KeyBox).

Vehicles are equipped in accordance with the requirements applicable in Poland. In the case of travel abroad, the customer should check the regulations of the country in question himself and retrofit the vehicle himself if necessary.

Complaints

Our complaints department works hard to respond to complaints as quickly as possible, but please remember that, in accordance with applicable law, we have 14 days from the date of receipt of the complaint to do so.  

Depending on your preferences, you can submit your complaint: 

  • submit it via the complaint form (the most convenient and preferred option);
  • send it by email to: reklamacje@carnet.pl;
  • send it in paper form to the following address: CAR NET Complaints, ul. Podmiejska 4, 62-800 Kalisz.  

Please ensure that your complaint includes a detailed description of the circumstances and attachments, e.g. photos, as this will speed up the verification process. When submitting your complaint, please use your booking number to help us identify it more easily.

We do not respond to complaints submitted on online services (Google, Trustpilot or GoWork).  

Please report this matter to us immediately, e.g. by email to kontakt@carnet.pl, describing the situation in detail and attaching photographic documentation.

As soon as the circumstances arise, e.g. the report does not correspond to the actual state of affairs, report the matter using the form or by e-mail to reklamacje@carnet.pl (when contacting us, please use your booking number).
