Information clause for CAR NET Polska customers concerning correspondence

1. The Controller of your personal data is CAR NET Polska sp. z o. o. (hereinafter: “CAR NET”) based in Kalisz 62-800, ul. Podmiejska 4.

2. CAR NET has appointed a Data Protection Officer whom you can contact by email iod@carnet.pl. or in writing to CAR NET’s registered office address. The Data Protection Officer can be contacted on all matters concerning the processing of personal data and the exercise of rights relating to data processing.

3. Your personal data will be processed for the purpose of:

a) conducting correspondence and resolving a possible case to which the correspondence relates – the legal basis for the processing is the legitimate interest of CAR NET as a personal data controller (Article 6(1)(f) GDPR) consisting in conducting correspondence addressed to it in connection with its business activity;

b) establishing or pursuing possible claims or to defend against such claims by CAR NET – the legal basis for the processing is the legitimate interest of CAR NET as a personal data controller (Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR), consisting in the defence of its business interests.

4. Your personal data may be transferred to entities providing services to CAR NET, e.g. to an accounting and bookkeeping office, external advisors, IT solution providers, postal or courier service providers, entities providing legal services.

5. Your personal data will be processed for the duration of CAR NET’s legitimate interest. The storage period of personal data may be extended each time by the period of limitation of claims, if the processing of personal data is necessary for the investigation of possible claims or defence against such claims by CAR NET.

6. You have the right to access, rectify, erase and restrict the processing. In addition, you have the right to object on grounds relating to your particular situation. For evidentiary purposes, CAR NET requests that objections be made in writing or electronically.

7. You also have the right to lodge a complaint with the President of the Data Protection Authority if you consider that the processing of your personal data violates the provisions of the GDPR.

8. Your provision of personal data is necessary in order to conduct correspondence and resolve the matter to which the correspondence relates. The consequence of your failure to provide personal data is that it will not be possible to resolve the matter you have addressed in your correspondence to CAR NET.
